It’s been a whirlwind of a year-start, Darlan – from zooming in to Cavite right after media noche to attending Clay and Steffi’s wedding to bonding with the Ekholm family. We’ve all felt the tiredness in just a couple of days and so we retreated to inactivity.
I know we haven’t regrouped decently to lay out our plans for this year – our hopes and dreams of 2018. But all is good – we tackle things as they come; everything feels right on track with us together.
Of Hope
Let this be a letter of hope – of hope that like how we’ve prepared Bryce to walk down the aisle holding a bible, we’ll also prepare him for responsibleness and resiliency and perseverance – all the foundational qualities that will make him self-reliant.

Your love for Bryce is unconditional. I know I’ve complemented you as supermom and right now, that’s the best I can come up with because otherwise, I would be speechless with no words to describe your love and sacrifice for our baby boy.
Of Gratefulness
Let this be a letter of gratefulness for being a living testimony that you are my better half. You complement me. We are total opposites – a fact that made us “be in different worlds” a decade ago. It is still the same fact that makes us a solid whole – a well-rounded couple in the form of yin and yang – opposites and complementary.
You have the other key to me. Of the answers that I, alone, wouldn’t be able to think nor imagine, you unlock them in a wonderful manner.
Let’s say, “2018, come at me bro!”
~ Your handsome husband, B
