We’ve been playing Step-No, Step-Yes for so long… and Tag! You’re It, too. We may have discovered the right balance to some of our pet peeves, likes and dislikes but just like other couples, we have our individual pride and we make the same mistakes over and over again.
Our “all hell breaks loose” scenario goes like:
- I will say something funny
- She will not think it’s funny
- I will take it seriously that she thought it’s not funny
- She will take it seriously that I took it seriously
- I will woo her
- She will not budge
- I will walk away
- She will woo me
- I will not budge
- She will walk away
- I will walk out
- She will follow me
That’s how we ponder about the pettiness that transpires between us – I, by having that alone moment being in some place away from her and she, by having that alone moment while walking to find me.
During our convergence, we’re like two foolish people guiltily making up yet after quite some time do not remember how the fight started.
