Yesterday, Bryce engaged me in drawing some birds that eat cockroaches for leisure. He said that the birds are called “B Birds” and the roaches are called “Boodoodoos”.
B Birds don’t have beaks, though — and Boodoodoos have six legs just like a real cockroach!

Going number 2, Bryce would always scurry while seemingly asking for permission from us. It was the case even if he could already take off his own shorts and go to the toilet alone. One possible reason was he needed us to switch the light on.
This particular day — yesterday — marked a milestone in his life — in our lives! As always, after a short while, he would holler for us and we were expecting it — to go to the comfort room and wash his behind. But not this time.
Team RainPlay at Cascades — our first day, trial class. 26 February 2020
We were into our first month in Cascades when the quarantine struck. After a couple of weeks of letting this whole situation sink in, online classes began.
We’re grateful for having strong and kind leaders in Bryce’s learning community. Here’s a letter from Ms. I during this time of crisis:
Dear Parents,
I am writing with the hope that everyone is safe and in the comfort of their homes. To our parents and guardians that are front liners, thank you very much. We will always include you in our prayers.
