Tinola

Home-cooked meals are the best. The evidence was Bryce’s gusto in eating two to three rounds of rice and viand. We have done this a long time ago—meal planning, that is. And our first (again) was Tinola which is also my father’s favorite food (as long as it’s cooked by my mother).

Bryce and Pandesal

Yesterday, it rained bullets when I missed the taho vendor by a minute or two. This was after the fact that I promised to prepare it as a breakfast for Jaycelle. So, what a dutiful husband to do? Wake up your wife with another promised breakfast of pandesal, buko juice, and chilled taho (for the meantime because on Sunday is Henry the taho vendor’s rest day).

Early in the morning, Bryce and I walked to a neighboring store complex to buy yummy Pinoy buns from Pan de Manila then we crossed the street to get some buko juice and onto 7-Eleven to get chilled taho. And our Sunday was done!

Bryce Shoots

Bryce could now lift up my DSLR (pancake lens attached) and shoot without limits (unlike me who saved up for 36-shot films). He’s using live view and auto-focus—so he just full-presses the camera until it hits the target. The good thing about this is that Jaycelle and I would always have a paparazzi following us around.

Bryce

As an office get-up, Bryce wanted to wear his home sando around his neck but I said that he had a better alternative to it—his big-slash-scarf that he had since he was one-year-old. We just didn’t use it often because we all know what happens to real-usage of bibs, right? They become rags!

We’ve tried a handful of baby products for #LittleAdamBryce since he was a newborn up to now that he is an active toddler. Recently we’ve tried Johnson’s® Cottontouch™ Top-To-Toe™ Bath and Johnson’s® Cottontouch™ Face & Body Lotion from the NEW @johnsonsbabyph product line with the gentlest formulation that’s free from parabens, phthalates, sulfates and dyes.

?Johnson’s® Cottontouch™ Top-To-Toe™ Bath?

I love Johnson’s for their No More Tears® formula. Toddlers are very active even while taking a bath! It’s like another playtime activity and adventure time, only with water involved haha. The No More Tears® formula ensures that no matter how likot Bryce can be, his eyes won’t get hurt even if the product accidentally touches his eyes. No crying episodes during bath time!

Also for moms like me who like to keep it simple for their babies’ and kids’ bath time, you’ll love Cottontouch™ Top-To-Toe™ Bath because this 2-in-1 product is ultra-light and gentle even for newborn’s sensitive skin and toddler skin alike! It effectively cleanses and gently moisturizes my toddler’s hair and body without leaving any residue.
I fell in love with the sweet and soft scent. I think you will love it too!

Bonus: I love the new modern packaging. The 500ml pump bottle dispenser is a breeze to use. It’s so easy to pump with just one hand!

?Johnson’s® Cottontouch™ Face & Body Lotion?

This is perfect for Bryce (and husband) who don’t like lotions. Cottontouch™ lotion is a unique water-based lotion blended with natural cotton. This seals off the sweet and soft scent on my Bryce’s skin. None of the icky sticky greasy after-feel. It’s truly lightweight and leaves our skin (yes, I’ve tried it on myself too!) moisturized, soft and incredibly smooth!

I’m 100% confident that you will love Johnson’s® Cottontouch™ Top-To-Toe™ Bath and Johnson’s® Cottontouch™ Face & Body Lotion too! We invite you to try them too and check them out on Lazada for great deals!!
