Thankfulness goes hand in hand with seeing the now.
I’m thankful for the life that flows through this little four-corner house and the people in it who are my home.
Jaycelle, my wife, is living her aspirations. I’m thankful for the mutual support that we share with each other.
Bryce, my son, is growing more independent each waking day. I’m thankful for the play time that we share together building blocks.
My parents, who, for a couple of years already, are enjoying their lives as seniors—are ever so healthy in their minds and bodies.
My mother-in-law, in the same light of health, is immersed in growing her small business.
My brothers and their families—we got each other’s backs.
My friends from the past who prove to be the same in the present.
Then it comes back to myself—I feel blessed to be someone to all those I love.
These things can’t be bought—and these things only time affords.
The now.
Look for it. What do you have now that you are thankful for?

An Attitude of Gratitude
There are tons of benefits for us humans if we cultivate the attitude of gratitude. Being grateful is one way we magnify and amplify the good in our lives. It is a powerful yet underutilized tool for transforming our lives for the better and to increase our happiness and satisfaction in life.
And today happens to be the fourth Thursday of November, and that means in most parts of the world, people are celebrating Thanksgiving!
And since I haven’t written my Happy List (I miss writing for Dollhouse Diary) for a long time now, and I’m just glad to take this day to hopefully start and get back in the habit of writing my happy list slash gratitude list.
I am most grateful for…
My husband! Since I’ve met him in 2007, he has been the wind beneath my wings, my number 1 supporter, my partner in everything. He has been my inspiration to be more, do more and have more in life. Together with our little family, I couldn’t ask for more! Except maybe lots of organized travels domestically and internationally. Hihihi 😛

My #LittleAdamBryce, of course! Raising a toddler is kind of the same as being a student, except that I don’t get high grades when I did good, BUT I get little hugs and kisses when mommy has done something good. *awww* Not only is my toddler learning how to be a little human, but I, myself, is learning how to be a good parent to him. I’m learning patience, creativity and immense unconditional love, amongst a sea of new talents and skills just so I can cope in raising and parenting my incredibly amazing, adorable, bibo kid!

Flexible Time! I’ve stopped working since I got pregnant in 2015 until I gave birth and raising my toddler until half of 2016. But the itch of creating something that I believe in and pursuing something that I love to do never left me at all. Hence the birth of my status of being an entrepreneur in May 2017, when I launched my very first baby, Mrs. Gift Boxes! And many more baby brands in the making… so exciting! I’m also able to pursue my passion for learning personal finance and this year, I am happy to share that I’m now a licensed financial advisor!! *woohoo* And this is where the loop comes in, because this is all possible and all because of my husband! Get it? Get it!
One final personal touch for my lovely MGB clients ^_^
Happy Thanksgiving, everyone! May you acknowledge the things and people you are grateful for, and enjoy the turkey!

I opened my eyes in the morning of six and another pair of eyes with smiling lips greeted me.
“I was so excited I wasn’t able to sleep. Gave birth to an idea,” Jaycelle said as if she herself just woke up.
She showed me her phone and scribbled what the idea was. It was a business, a brand, a process that she churned the whole night through.
And I’m nearly as excited for her as well. Knowing her—that kind of excitement fuels her dreams to reality more than anything else.
