I can be very stubborn to say the least. I childishly react over random little things and I can be very bratty most times too. Overtime, Brian evolved into a man that exudes so much patience (Not that I’m going to drain it!). He tries to understand me whenever I’m having mood swings. I love…

Hoy, bumalik ka rito!
Picnic at La Mesa Eco Park.

I can be very stubborn to say the least. I childishly react over random little things and I can be very bratty most times too. Overtime, Brian evolved into a man that exudes so much patience (Not that I’m going to drain it!). He tries to understand me whenever I’m having mood swings.

I love Brian’s patience and understanding.

After being drained over every argument, he still tries to reach out to pacify me. When I’m already back to my senses and realized that I shouldn’t be lashing out on him, I rest my pride and apologize to him.

I love him even more, every time.

More and more each day we discover ourselves behaving and liking the opposites of things. If I like the door closed, she likes it open; if a room is too hot for her, it’s too cold for me; if the sink is already full of dirty dishes, well, I wash them. I love how Jaycelle…

You & Me: Toothbrush
Despite our differences, we’re in this together.

More and more each day we discover ourselves behaving and liking the opposites of things. If I like the door closed, she likes it open; if a room is too hot for her, it’s too cold for me; if the sink is already full of dirty dishes, well, I wash them.

I love how Jaycelle and I meet in the middle.

Our relationship survives pleasantly because of our willingness to compromise.

At first I really didn’t understand my father every time he told me that relationships are “give and take”. This was his advice whenever I would come up to him with a bruised heart.

And so I learned – love is when you come out of a wreckage scathed but alive and stronger – ready to go through it all again with that person.

First Couple Selfie
Our first selfie as a couple.

Only nine days to go and it will be our first anniversary since we got married. It’s been busy since we started preparing for the big day and little by little we slowed down to unwind and enjoy this new chapter of our lives together. We take it easy building our dreams, discerning which roads to choose and which way to turn to. It’s us in this journey.

I love how Jaycelle balances my sourness with her sweetness.

I can be very rigid at times – with all the things that’s happening in my life in the pursuit of dreams and career, it undoubtedly turned me unimaginative. But there is Jaycelle with her uplifting attitude to make me look into the brighter side of things; there she is to plan for short trips and all the fabulous adventures only a girl could think of. I roll my eyes then I enjoy the ride.
